So I am aware that the stock exhaust off an R6 will fit onto a GS500, but can an aftermarket slip on exhaust for the R6 work just the same?

I have some nice scorpion exhausts ... Ti only 200 and ship, and you get $5 off a jet kit cos they'll ship in the box with pipe.
I bought these to fit on the various bikes I got, but well, I dunno when those ever are getting built.
Cool.

I have a micron slipon that fit an R6 on mine and works/sounds great. The pipe from the headers needed a little work on it but didn't seem to be that big of a job. No problems with bogging, etc.

Im using an aftermarket exhaust from an r6, the mid pipe needed a slight bend but other than that it looks great

I like that GS moose, nice colors. Is your headlight bucket black? Mine is at the powder coater this week.

I'm just looking for a really cheap way to get my bike to sound louder, but still be legal, aka not straight pipes. I did find this though, could it work?

It says in the FAQ, "*Due to different state regulations on emissions and noise disturbance, this item is for off-road use only. Use at your own risk.".  If you do want to risk it (or only ride your gs off-road), they also claim to give full refunds minus the cost of shipping.  So if it doesn't fit, send it back.
