Telemarketers of companies your currently a customer of VS DO NOT CALL list?

I'm just curious if the DO NOT CALL list stops companies you are currently a customer of from calling you with telemarketing efforts?

I just had my cable company call me trying to upsell me on some new crap they offer, and I know I've added myself to the national DO NOT CALL list? WTF?!

Don't think it would be part of the DNC registry but you can write them a letter stating that you don't want communication with them. Hell you can even do that with a co you owe money to and they have to stop sending you bills

Seems like they were trying to get around DNC registry by sending text and thus you getting charged for stuff you never wanted in the first place. I had found some link to the FBI about it and forwarded it to them   That stopped pretty quick though!

i think theres somehting in the bill part that some type of arrangement has to be made. or something. i forget what it is called or what it entails. from what i understood was they couldnt call you, only send mail ( bills)

If you are a customer, they can call you. DNC list applies when you are not a customer of a company. Charities and political groups are exempt (unfortunately, but I do my best to insult them so they know they are wasting their time on me.)

Next time, tell them to stop calling you. If you do that, they have to stop.

Seems Adidas you are dissing the Jews LOL. Jesus healed on the Sabbath and gave I think it was Paul a vision that all of God's creatures was clean.  I do go out with my Church into the Community to let them know the free services we provide. Such as a free lunch to the homeless nearly every day don't know about Sunday. Free Healthcare once a week our Pregnancy center that provides clothes and diapers for free to people. If people don't want to know about the Gospel thats fine but can't think of people in this environment that would turn many of these services down. It was this church that sought me out! When I found out they walked the walk instead of just talking the talk I was on board. I try not to bring beliefs into much of this because I realized nothing that "I" can do to change anyone that is a God thing all I can do is tell people that I am supposed to care about!

I do remember one day the LDS was in the neighborhood before us and this one lady thought I was one she started to chase me! I turned around in (security game mode) and asked her if she had a problem. Scared the krap out of the little old lady with me I may be a Christian but I'm not going to let anyone abuse me or people I care about.

Okay the morphine is working I get off on diatribes LOL. Sugery in a few hours!

Religious fanatics are the most fun when they come to the door. Especially on a Saturday since the old testament says he who works on the sabbath shall be put to death. And then the passages about OK to eat rats but not pigs; how to make underwear for priests. Lots of really weird stuff if you read all of Leviticus. Bug them about the "gaay" verse. Make them read it. It only speaks of the sx act between men - nothing about being gaay and nothing about women. Really ticks them off to point that out. I bring up other odd passages if I have time to waste. They don't bother coming back to my door.

(Not meaning to come off as non-religious, just don't knock on my door and push your own version onto me.)

ive dealth with them im a christian btw. have mentioned hte sabbath. a certain group , whom i shall not name because of a staff member here. hate being proven wrong, theres been times ive asked them not to return, somehow gets put on list that im target number 1. ALHTOUGH htey have been kind to me. one of them, actually pair, ( they come in pairs) gave me a ride home from hospital, i had ot walko ride.
