Hey guys,

Haven't been on in a year or so since I've been so caught up in dental school.  Bought the bike last spring and put a lot of work into it because I heard it was a great beginner bike. Seller said the idle was high and the bike was running so I sprung for it knowing I had to put some work into it.  So I did...replaced the tach assembly, new switches on the handlebars, repainted the plastics/tank and tires (poorly) and I fixed the high idle!  I also rejetted the bike according to Buddha's suggestions and the high idle was fixed!  All in all, I put about $300 into it not including the labor which in reality is nothing until you add it to student loans.  :technical:

Started riding the bike and found that it kind of bogged a bit at mid-range to higher speeds so I synced the carbs and cleaned them out several times.  The next step that was suggested to me was to do a valve sync check but I didn't have the time.  School came around and winter came and I put the bike under a carport under a cover (never touched by snow or rain) and winterized it.  Meanwhile I had ridden the bike maybe a good 50 miles total.  Got a new hand me down car and a fellow dental student broke both bones in one leg on a moped...all in all, I'm calling it quits.

I found that when I did ride the bike on the road, that I was so concerned on concentrating on not being killed by surrounding vehicles that I was not really enjoying the motorcycle as much as I enjoyed riding dirt bikes in a forest with NO cars/unhinged mothers in minivans.

Therefore, I have decided to sell the bike.  I tried starting the bike up the other day and it picks up but doesn't idle.  I will try again in the coming days to mess around with a few things, but the love is lost and I need this bike to go to a new home.  Also, I honestly have no time to work on this bike whatsoever which is a damn shame.

However, because she is such an oldie I'm not sure whether to sell her as is or part her out.  Please let me know your guys input or if you want to buy her haha!  I wanted to come here first before craigslist simply because you guys have been so good in helping me out in the past.

Needs repainting and someone who knows more about bikes than me
The bike is located in CT.
A ballpark price I'm looking for is around $800-850, but I know you guys know more than me about these sorta things.

Here's a link to some photos of it:  http://flic.kr/p/9ZzdeB

Thanks everyone.

Move about 800 miles west and we got a deal!
