Going Green with the paint

Well, I think I have settled on what color I am going to paint the tank and front fender, I'm going Green, a heavy metallic green, similar to a Bass Boat metal flake finish, maybe slightly less drastic, but still heavy on the metallic content. The knee scallops on the tank will be painted the same Anthracite grey as the wheels and side cover, the Green/Grey areas will be separated by a thin pinstripe of metallic blue.

I do have my reservations about this, knowing I'll get a thousand comments of why did you paint a Suzuki Green and not Blue, well it's my bike, my project, and I think the Green will POP against the predominantly Flat Black, Dark Grey hues on the bike.

Thoughts, comments?

Anyone know any good painters in MASS?

your color looks more vibrant and pops more, but the triumph looks at least a bit similar though.

I like the Triumph color but seeing it in person it's a bit to Limey(No Pun Intended) for me, I'm looking for more of a LED (Think Alarm Clock) Green, with a heavy dose of metal flake in it.

That's always been my favorite color for a bike. Someday when I need to paint a streetfighter, that's the color it's gonna be. God for it! Someone on here painted their GS that color in the past few years and it looked great.

Go for it man. I think the green on that guitar will go great with the rest of the color scheme.

I dont like most greens this side of British racing green, that green just plain looks like puke ... fluorescent puke.

Bass boat looks also dont work that great on a bike, looks a bit tacky ... on a bass boat it looks very very tacky, but then so do bass boaters. So ... its like expecting Donald Trump to be quietly elegant ... hell no, loud and tacky is what you expect and that's what you get.

Cool.

To each there own...

And perhaps I won't go the Bass Boat heavy Metallic but it will sparkle.

I like the Green, and yes it is like a nuclear puke puddle, but the rest of the bike is so subdued I think a bit of Flash would look good, again, all subjective.

And British Racing Green, I think half the people that like that color just like it to be nostalgically hip.

Of late I am digging the inverted look. Like The frame is bright and shiny. The body is subdued.
Like I am doing my GR frame in shiny silver with multi color mylar flecks. Just very very bright. The body I did in a rather subdued blue. However now that its going to be a Buell tailed frankenbike, I am thinking of a black body - and a buell has a whopping 2 colored parts.

I was toying with the idea of doing a xs in yellow frame and the body in black. But well, these are frame off jobs, a lot of work.

Pretty sure its one of the stock colors.
So instead of waiting on a reply, just stop by a dealer and ask.

I've seen a TON of green camaro's in this area so its def. stock.

(edit)

Good call, I've only ever seen the one in that color so I assumed he painted it after purchase. Chevrolet calls it "synergy green", I'll have to stop by a dealer and see if they'll give me a code or quote me a price.
