Was this the end of the world according to that religious culty fellow?

Didn't he know that the world ended last month or whenever we were supposed to have the pole switch?

Doesn't he know the Myan calendar  blah blah blah

Doesn't he know that since a lot of Nostradamus's stuff hasn't all come to fruition yet, that the world cannot end until after those predicted events?

And frankly, I'm not seeing Nabiru yet. So, I'll just sit back with a nice warm cup of tea...

As I understand it, May 21 is the only the "beginning" of the end of the world.
The grand finale is supposed to be on October 21.
The fellow that explained this to me also mentioned that getting religious in the eleventh hour isn't going to help much because heaven already has done its head-count and the gates have been closed for some time now.

He is an Electrical Engineering Tech I work with that specializes in writing complex PLC latter-logic. Extremely bright fellow. He's 60 years old and sharp as a tack. Has spent his life working on various projects in South Africa, Asia, and the USA as an E-Tech and more recently a programmer.
Wish I had his skill set. A smart fellow and a likable guy.

Additionally, he is quite active with his (Christian) church.
We occasionally talk scripture but nothing too heavy.

No offense EJ, but if he can't walk on water I don't believe him. I'm sure he is an outstanding character though.

Biggest problem I see is the whole "false prophet" with all this (and it's not directed at anybody in particular).

Unfortunately, Walter is the only "prophet" I have access to.
Now if he could just help me figure out why the ECU in my DL1000 keeps losing its Idle Reference after long highway rides I'd know for sure he was clairvoyant!
