Does anyone know whether title transfer and bill of sale needs  notarization in Indiana .I am new to Indiana and seller tells me that in Indiana notarization is not necessary when buying from a private seller if I am paying the sales tax at the DMV.

Indiana BMV site doesn't state that notarization in needed for title transfer or registration. Not sure if the information is current though.
