Hello I have a 2006 Gs500f, I went out with it Yesterday and stayed out for like 3 hours and then came back and it wouldn't start. I figured it's a battery thing so I went ahead and push started it, but then it wouldn't stay on. I put the choke on and push started it again. Then it would stay on for a bit then turn off again. There was almost no response from the throttle, also although it was running and the choke was on max the RPM was twitching and mostly staying at zero even when I throttle. I left the bike where it is and had a friend pick me up, I took the battery out and put it on a trickle charger to make sure it's not a battery problem, but I don't feel like it is. I am going back tomorrow to try to fix it, I suspect it's carburetors but I am not sure. I would also rather not take the bike apart on the street to clean the carbs, but if I have to I will. I would just like some advice on what it could be and if there are quick things I should take a look at or adjust before taking the bike apart. Thank you for your help.

Put the petcock to Prime & see if it starts & runs.....could be a petcock/vacuum/ line problem.
