It started with a blink m2 which failed miserably. Then a scale q2
which didn't have all the features I wanted. I finall landed on the
scale g4. The feature set was perfect but the speakers were
horrendous. No bass and I mean none at all. It was uncomfortable to
listen to treble that loud accompanied with the speaker clipping.

I ordered some Sony extra bass headphones that were over the ear. I
took them apart and un soldered the drivers. I did the same with the
g4 speakers. I resoldered the Sony headphones to he g4 unit and
started to fit the speakers in the helmet. That was the hardest part.
I had to cut some of the padding in my helmet but it was very little
cutting.

After some minor adjustesments the speakers are permanent and sound
incredible! Great Ballence of treble and bass. When I turn it all the
way up it's too loud. So it's nice I don't max them out.

Even tho it's not my thing.I have to give this two  :thumb: :thumb: .Very pro looking job.You can tell you took the time to do it correctly. If you hadn't posted the how to info,I would argue that it was an off the self unit.Looks like it was made to fit your helmet perfectly.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

Thanks guys. As an update it's still holding up well. But I have to be careful. Dubstep and riding a motorcycle is an adrenaline rush!
