A little thing I made...

I've been so wrapped up in car projects, bike projects, and dirt bike/atv projects over the last year that I've neglected one of my hobbies...and I got a bad itch a couple weeks ago to pick it up.  Then I broke all but one or two of the staves I'd worked down over the winter so I could finish them quickly when I had time.  Damn heat has cooked all my lumber and made it all brittle.

This one worked out great, though...even though it's a board bow.

It's oak with hickory on the back.  Antler nocks.  Draws 58lbs at 28".  Thing is fast and eerier quiet.  You can't even hardly hear the arrow leave the brace.  If my arrows didn't suck and refuse to fly right it would be pretty deadly combination.

I still need to get a full draw picture...

Is it a wooden bow?  If it hasn't sat in reflex or saw any adverse climates then pretty much anything would be fine.

scratch

...wood be fine...

Makenzie!  Beautiful bow!  Good to hear from you, and glad see you're still alive!  It has been a long time since we've heard from you!  Welcome back!

I've been popping in now and then.  Life's so busy right now...I have a 2 year old and I'll have a daughter in September, work has been dragging me all over the country this year, and a bunch of this/that/& the other...I don't have time for anything.  I've almost even lost the strength to argue with people on the internet.

yeah its wooden. stored unstrung, maybe a bit damp storage but still seems good. but want to have it thoroughly examined before i restring it.

btw still want to get my hands on one of those dental drills. found some cable driven ones on ebay, as well as a few air drills. my 2 foredom drills i have at shop. well one there, and one at home, i want to get perhaps an air drill so i can get into polishing stones too. have all but a VHS drill ( very high speed)
