man theres so much going on in motoGP...rossi defects to yamaha, making nick hayden honda's #1 rider (sete had good results, no? i guess hayden has more room to grow), colin edwards finally getting a ride he can stay inferno-free on (movistar telefonica honda alongside sete gibernau) , toyota, with f1 experience, rumored to be helping yamaha with their m1 GP bike....oh i dunno thats just off the top of my head....i wish speedtv would play the races over and over again like they do with the nascar races...-=( i work on the weekend

It's gonna have to be a good year for GP, WSB is falling apart with the tyre-rule problems, on the upside some of the "local" SB should be good. It's a shame to see one of the genuinely exciting race formats fall apart but maybe it'll be good for GP. Ah, the sound of italian engines!

Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer, he's a demon on wheels....
I just watched 2 hours of that stuff!   :)

Anyways...  I'm glad to see MotoGP get shaken up a bit.  Every race I see I still scratch my head about how they hit those turns so well... then again I am a newbie and my knees stay tight on the tank (takes a lot of pressure off the arms, you know)  And I totally agree with Paui... Why not go back to the full Two-Wheeled Tuesday?  I want to see real racing, hitting the good lines through the turns, real battles for position.

Cal, be happy you don't have to suffer through hours of boring, lame, lame lame Nascar.  I'm so sick of getting redneck circle racing driven down my throat.  I'm glad Australian V8 Supercars is on, and stuff like German and British Touring cars is being shown... How's that for real racing!  Aussies race like animals!

Turkina, you are not wrong with that. I have a sat dish and get stuff from all over and with some exceptions car racing tends to lack, well racing, some f1 tracks are just a procession, who overtakes at Monarco? not many for sure. Don'f fall asleep watching Nascar, good luck. I'm at work but about to sneak off to the mess room and watch the rugby union world cup final, go Johny go.

This coming season in MotoGP will prove whether Rossi is Christ returned (as the race announcers seem to believe), or just a fantastic rider who had the best equipment for quite a while.  Everyone else is catching up to Honda and Rossi is taking a large step backward in bike quality.  Yamaha wants him to help develop their bike in the off season.

Now if only Suzuki and Kawasaki would get their shaZam! together and be competitive.......... :dunno:

kawasaki might give motoGP their main focus b/c they pulled out of AMA superbikes, leaving eric bostrom teamless.  You would think kawasaki might have as good a chance as any other team in superbikes next year with all the manufacturers releasing their new liter models but i think they want to concentrate on one type of racing. possibly motoGP?  Eric bostrom might sign with ducati for superbike, as ducati wants to expand more into the US.  They dont seem to believe that they will have much competition in world superbikes with the tire changes and teams dropping out

I'm hoping WSB will actually be much better than it appears - the in-line 4 manufacturers are pissed at the organizers over the tires, so they are making the appearance of withdrawing, but there will actually be factory supported teams from Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha with the new I4 bikes. Tecate Honda is making the move up from dominating WSS, and the Suzuki endurance team is moving to WSB. I forget who will be the non-factory, factory, Yamaha team.

Kawasaki and Suzuki will continue to fill the back of the field in MotoGP, along with Proton, WCM and Aprilia. Yamaha was close to making the leap to a front runner at the end of the season, and with Rossi, they will be there next season.

Ducati will have 4 bikes, and Bayliss now knows the tracks. He is fun to watch.

I'm glad Edwards got a Honda - he deserved it after coming from behind to win the WSB for Honda in 2002. That was great racing!

For what it's worth I still think world supersport was the most competative and exciting to watch.

But I like the announcers for MogoGP the best.

I never watched much MotoGP until this past season. I saw Hayden win a couple flattrack races in 2002 on Speedvision. In one (Springfield?) he lapped everybody except Chris Carr in second place. Like Carr said after the race, "The kid is something special", and he alluded to him as the second coming of Kenny Roberts.

2004 should be great. With Hayden as #1 and Rossi trying to make the Yamaha work.

i'm really glad for edwards as well...i love his no bs attitude
"we came in 17th, which was total shaZam!" not an exact quote but he says something of the sort frequently on the column he writes for t.w.o. magazine (brit mag)
