2006 GS500.. kinda-F ?

This isnt so much a "build", as a "get bike back in working order, cheap"  thing

originally, a pristine GS500F.
now with one side of the fairings messed up, so... I figured I'd rig it out sv650 style, with just upper fairing
("cowl"?)

I think it actually looks pretty good that way now.
I had to partially take off the cowl too, because I needed to attempt to straighten the left-side support.. where the mirror goes on. It made things a little lopsided. and the left footpeg bracket is bent too !:(  ordered another one.. sigh...


PS:  This is the pretty side. the drop was on the left.  If you look closely, you'll note there is no left side mirror :-}

I'd have to say that looks pretty good Phil. Nice work.
