Hello,
I purchased a 2000 GS500 with 4,900 miles on it from a coworker two weeks ago as it was just sitting unused in his garage and I wanted a project. The problem is the bike was not much of a project. I went on the web, predominately GSTwins, and found out all about the basic mods to make the bike perfectly usable and did them. The bike runs perfect and is no longer a project so I am looking to sell it. Mods include:
-V&H pipe (new).
-Jet kit (new).
-K&N lunchbox filter (new).
-Sonic fork springs (new; 90lb straight rate).
-Fenderectomy.
-Clear Solutions integrated LED taillight/turn signals (new).
The bike is black and has no dents, but does have some scratches in the paint. The front fender is bubbled on the back nearest the header pipe, which appears to be a common occurrence probably due to the heat generated by the long warm up times required with stock pipe/jetting/airbox set up, which I have remedied. It has a small quarter or cafe style fairing on it. Tires are original. The right front fork seal is beginning to weep and will require replacing in the coming months. I have $1,500 invested in it and that is what I am asking. I will post pictures this weekend.
   Very respectfully, Tim
