So i changed the handlebars towards me ever so slightly and i got to say it makes a whole hell of a lot of difference for someone who is 6'2" before it was constantly cramping my shoulders but now i can ride around  comfy lol.

Its really easy to do, and until i get my drag bars this will do quite nicely lol!

(just a heads up if you put them to far down you will hit your tank when you park your bike and your bars swing so watch out)

ill post some pics tomorrow, to excited about BF3 coming out in 5 hours lol

Thats amusing.. I found the same thing.. tilting towards me was very helpful. But I'm 5'7" ! I thought it was because I had "short" arms, but people with longer arms would like stock.

Now you're saying tall people dont like it either...
So who IS the stock handlebar ergonomics for?? :D

NorwayGT1

lmao i have no clue.. but i couldnt take it anymore... even when you lean forward to get into to drag position it even feels better you know?? So thats just one more question i want to ask the designer of the gs along side the pet chicken underneath the gas tank lol

I'm 6'2 and have no issues with handlebars. I find the bike quite comfortable - wouldn't have done multiple 500km days if I hand't.

hmm interesting..  i think it feels kinda like half a$$ ape hangers lol... you must be used to it, after a while you start building muscle memory and that might help, try adjusting them just for curiosity sake man. i think it even gives the bike a more sporty feel in my opinion...

But hey to each his own, am right bro

Closer to you means your body should be more upright. This is a less sporty position  :dunno_black:

What bars do you have? What type of GS do you have. Ain't no way the bars are anything like ape hangers. Huh? Maybe the PO put non stock bars on in a non stock position and you just think it was all normal. Who knows?

*I* must be used to it? Dude, it was comfy from day dot, I wouldn't have bought the bike if it wasn't comfy.  :icon_rolleyes:

I find it comfy, you don't. If our bars are stock, in a stock position, then it just means our respective bio-mechanics are different.  :thumb:
