Hey Adidasguy, Ofc its me! Anyways would you be willing to do a custom request? of course depending on the price on my end. Just wondering if I could get one that's stamped without any words like GS500 Maybe just cool cut out. No words. I like my GS500. But No one looks at the chain guard while your moving I just want a metal chain guard, cause the plastic/rubber defaults get to much road/chain crude on them and its hard to scrape off...

I'll have to wait until we sell out the first 20. I will see the cost but probably not until after Christmas in Munich (will hit local bike shop and see what I can find.)

some more photos of it

Looks good. Not sure if I would paint it. Looks interesting standing out in plain SS. Like a brand logo and accent point for the bike.

I like it too much as is to paint it.
If I want to tho, will just buy a 2nd one off ya to do it on  :thumb:

Hi adidasguy,
They look great, man.
Do you still have one left that I might be able to buy?
Let me know and thanks,
Trwhouse   :)

There are plenty left. My guy that makes them can make more if the first run gets sold out.

Yep - that's me. On ebay I am selling them for more than to all my friends here on the GStwins board.  :kiss3: Order here. Don't order through ebay 'cause you'll pay more.

That is the photo of it on Trey.

Sales here going well (none on ebay). Got an order for 3 today. If you want them as a gift for Christmas, order asap. It doesn't have to be a gift to a person. Bikes LOVE presents. Show your bike you love him/her/it on Christmas morning with a new chain guard!  :thumb:

Addidas, just opened an early Christmas present from BaltimoreGS...a sexy new chain guard.  Looks great, can't wait to put it on!   :thumb:

The post title says stainless steel, but the text says aluminum. I figured it was just a typo...

but then, your avatar say stainless again ("Buy a Stainless Steel Chain Guard! Please?")

I'm confused  :icon_confused:

adidasguy

They are stainless. Originally aluminum but my guy that makes them says SS is better.

Definitely better. They'll hold their luster longer for sure.

What grade of Stainless Steel are they?

adidasguy

I'll have to ask my guy. I know it is not el crapo stuff. He doesn't use crap. He has a think for quality and reputation. Does a lot of metal fabrication in the Long Beach CA area.

They're here!
Nice, thick stainless steel. This is the raw material - you can buff it to a high gloss, rub it for a dull finish, run over it with 400 grit for a matt finish or leave as is.
The stainless steel is high grade - the same grade as used for stuff you eat off of.
These are the same height as stock so those with Airbrush's rear hugger: just drill your two holes and you're ready to go. The fit is the same (I have his huggers on all my bikes so I made sure of that  :icon_lol: )

(You may see it on ebay - I charge more on ebay. GStwin'rs get it cheaper here!)

$30 +$15 p&h, $25 p&h to Canada. Multiple orders get discount on shipping.

Kijona

I got one!

You guys need to buy one of these - especially if you have a silver frame. They really complement the bike a lot!
