Transporting Firearms on a Motorcycle: Let's see your setup.

The name says it all.  This is more geared towards those in the US.  I am looking for ideas on how to attach a case and gear bag to my GS500.  I occasionally like to indulge in more than one of my obsessions concurrently, shooting and motorcycling.  Currently I have my soft long gun case hooked to my helmet lock and my ammo bag on the other side (pics to come).  So I am wondering everyone else does it?

Yeah would be interesting to see. Here in my state you cant publicly display firearms they have to be secured in a car boot or ute tray.

No problem I'll make you a set of handlebars with a gun turret fitted in the triple and activated by the turnsignal and high beam. To shoot right, obviously put on the right turnsignal. Highbeams of course are for shooting straight.

I transport my Beretta Px4 Storm 9mm, on my hip, if I wanted to transport more pistols I would just use soft luggage. Now long guns....I haven't done that yet?

I have a custom set up that I designed in the early 80's, back when I was a motorcycle cop injured in the line of duty.  That was before I was chosen to ride STREET HAWK.

See what I did there was actually mount a full auto sub gun behind the upper cowling, hooked a servo trigger up to my handlebars and hid a pair of 80 mm rockets under the belly pan.  Downsides are that the mods do add a bit of weight but, as you'll notice in the video, that doesn't stop me from doing 360 degree spins while fending off evil doers.

In all seriousness, I just keep my Kahr CW9 in its normal leather OWB Holster in the 5 o'clock position, same as I do if I'm walking down the street. 

I have fantasies of building a duck hunting vstrom to access backcountry marshes.  And I have actually just bungied my shotgun (in its case) across the passenger seat when going to the range.  Never had a single problem, just made sure it was very secure.
