I thought this was an interesting statistic that my pastor said during his sermon. I'll have to ask his source. But, if you make $47,000 a year or more you are part of the top 1% money makers in the world because half of the world lives on less than $2 a day. Putting it in that perspective it really shoots down the occupy movement. Unfortunately, I'm not in the 1% I'm in the top 20% LOL. Maybe I should be occupying something. No wait I have a life nevermind.

Yea 47K a yr, sorry call BS there. I make 25K in India in the city I grew up in I'd be able to live like a king. Its called "cost of living".
The world doesn't live on $2 a day. The world lives on 1 lb rice, 1 chicken, 2 lb veggies, 20 gal water, etc etc etc.

You dont need a house with a big insulated wall cos its not that cold outside ... that's no reason to say "they live in houses with open windows and no insulation". Oooo I am going to start a charity and collect $ to insulate houses in India. Oh yea ...

The dollar is an artifact of the west, may not be relevant everywhere.

Fine that will cost you less than $2 a day in India. But then an angry mob will want to string you up for killing their cow.

Anyway India is not a big beef eating country, you wont miss it 1 bit though, we eat lamb and chicken and what not a plenty, fish, shrimp and what not too.

You can get beef in india, you can also get pork, its just harder that's all.
However you wont even miss it, there is a 1000 ways they would cook anything ... if you like spicy food though.

You ask for bbq in india ... not only will it be spiced like it will set you on fire ... it also will be burnt and likely be on fire ...
We cant bbq ... actually they do, but in a different type of oven - called a tandoor.
