Hello,

I am a GS500 rider in Los Angeles who posses the most troubled GS500 ever. She's a 2009 Suzuki GS500F who's motor/cam shift/piston rod went during a commute to work on the i10 and I've swapped a 1996 motor in her. Since then she's never been the same. I am flying back to Boston on Dec 20th to drive my car back to LA since my job demands it. I work in production and it's freelance therefore I have a lot more days off then on if you know what I mean. Therefore I can't pay any of these LA mechanics to guess and since I'll solely be depending on my car when I return to LA right after New Year's, I was wondering if any trusted, knowledgeable GS500 riders care to ride her around, see what's up and take it apart. I'll pay for all parts and I'll never hold you accountable for anything. I would definitely like to be part of this figuring out process on the weekends when I return so I can learn. I don't know if any one would be interested in a project bike or just to help a fellow rider because I don't know motorcycles part (probably don't even really know how to ride), my speciality is camera, lights and action.

Any takers?

I'll help you out brotha. Hit me up with a PM and I'll give you my contact info. I'm sure we can get to the bottom of it.

I live downtown and have a few GSs and a bunch of spares. All the socal riders are supposed to have a wrench and ride day soon anyway. Maybe we'll kill both of those birds with one stone  :thumb:
