Fitted Dominator-style dual headlights. Had a look at GS500 Wiki as after fitting these it seems to be upsetting the electrics, in the fact that the indicators flash quicker when the low beam or full beam is on but are OK when the side light is on. The Wiki states:
"...provide twice as much light as the stock headlight, but also draw twice as much power (~9A)." How would i improve the capablity of the system? New higher spec battery? Add relays to the system? Replace regulator? All of the above?

Dominators should be plug and play. They were for me. You might have pinched a wire and it may be shorting somewhere. Do all the indicators work? Indicators will  flash quicker when one is not working or blown. And I'm sorry but I have to disagree with wiki. They don't provide twice as much light over stock. They maybe better on low beam but high beam is atrocious. I upgraded the bulbs in mine.

Will be checking all wiring this weekend for bad earths, pinched wires, etc. They did plug and play fine - indicatord work fine when the side lights or on, but as soon as the low or high beam is turned on they flash quicker at the front and the back ones stop working all together!

Yes there is a monstrous loom of wires there. Just make sure it is all working before you bolt the headlight back on. Check the indicator wires first.
