Not a problem.

Go to www.tinypic.com.

After uploading, copy the "direct link" and then come back to GStwins and in your post, use this format: [.img]http://yourimageURLhere.whatever[./img] but remove the periods (.) from the brackets. Alternatively, you can highlight the URL after you paste it in your post and click the Mona Lisa button just below the "B" button for BOLD above the text-input section (where you type). Clicking this button will simply input the correct HTML code for you.

I'm registered with imageshack, assume I can do the same thing?

It seemed to work, thanks a million.

Picasa, Photobucket, imageshack, flickr, tinypic, imgr all work as hosts. - imgr doesn't require an account neither does tinypic

Imageshack requires you to be registered to get the direct link from their pictures. That's why I advised him to use tinypic. There are ways around this, however. I just didn't know if I could explain it in a way he could understand. :)
