cars don't do wheelies

Neither do I! Never once even attempted a wheelie on the R6. Never plan on attempting one. 2 wheels is crazy enough, there's no way you're getting me on 1.

Leaning towards buying a SV if I can get a deal, or buying a cheap DD. Either way, I want to stop DD'ing the STi.

I accidentally did a wheelie on my gs500.. on two separate occasions :-/

It involved way too much clutch suddenly, and painful back-and-forth experience :-/

I did it once also..

Was at a stop sign, and I accidently kicked it into neutral, so With the revs still high, I pulled in the clutch, kicked it into first, and let go w/o thinking. Lifted the wheel about a foot off the ground, I kinda just rode it until it came down, was only about 20 feet. The joys of being a newb

haha, I don't think it's new riders accidentally dumping the clutc hat a stop sign that gives you guys a bad name. Maybe next time you go out with your gsxr buddies doing one footed wheelies down the highway at 110mph, you'll think twice....  :icon_lol:

I used to try them on occassion on the GS, but it didn't care for them. Even if you get the front wheel off the ground, dumping the clutch and then having the front wheel slam back onto the ground isn't quite the same feeling haha

Nooooo noooooooo, I cant tell you how many times I have been pulled over on my GSXR when I was just out riding just minding my own business, doing nothing to no body - cos I "matched the description" of some punk on a GS500 pulling wheelies on the roads and then running and hiding ... man ...

No buddies, just me on my GSXR. No wheelies man, I mean its slammed 18 inch and estended 36" and fully chromed, and has spinners and spikes 100%, and has paint that changes from blue to grey to white to purple to red to white to blue in under 5 seconds ... and has under glow and over glow, and I have a huge light installed facing me cos I want people to see who is the cool dude, and I dont do nothing man. Just the GS500 punks make me pulled over and arrested for DUI. These punks should stop doing that.

Cool.

Now I get it....

Fine, I'll stop doing 12 o'clock stands at 120mph on my gs500, but I WILL NOT STOP DOING HAND STANDS AT 120!

No man, if you're gonna try to change things up like that, you've gotta do it right!

I've thought about Supermotos before but I would never take it off the road. I used to ride dirtbikes but my days there are over. Next time I play in the dirt, I'll be in a rally car ;)

Haha, I was gonna say, I've never really done any offroading(although I'm open to it now that I've got the bike), but if he doesn't do wheelies either, you're cutting out some important functions of the bike. It's fun on normal streets, you never have to be bothered by stupid things like potholes or rough roads, but you've really gotta be willing to give into your random urges to have the most fun you can.
