should i get a kn air filter, and if so what jets?

hi guys, so i put back in my stock air filter because i was using pods and it was just to loud under acceraration, but im keeping my slip on from IXIL it makes a sweet sound, so was thinking should i put in a drop in KN filter, does it make a big diference from sock? if so what would be the jets?

I dont know what year bike you have but this is my setup:

Bike: 2009 F
Filter: K&N SU5589 (no restrictor)
Exhaust: Yoshi Slip on
Jets: 20/135 (Buddha jet kit)
2009 GS500F, 2003 CBR F4i

Newer gen carbs have 3 jets, older gens (like his) have 2. For him, he needs to take a look at this: http://wiki.gstwins.com/index.php?n=Upgrades.Rejetting

There's a flow chart and everything. Generally, you're going to want a #40 pilot jet and maybe something a bit higher for the main. That link has all the jet information you could ever want AND where to get them!

The K&N air filter comes with a restrictor that can be used to circumvent the need for rejetting.

yes i know ther is a chart but it is for a drop in with stock exaust, so what would it be with a slip on?
