tea, if I had a 125cc - maybe. Didn't anyone read the specs? Up to a 125cc scooter. I think the GS500 is a little bigger - more like 498cc's.
How would you connect 4 of them to a GS500?

hmm i see, i did not realize exhausts have cc limits. I guess i just assumed they were all the same, haha i have much to learn

"somehow" - yes.
"bolt on" - no.

why this has gone three pages when the gs has been made and modified for 20+ years is beyond me.

it is a pipe. like what a stove usees, to dump spent (and some unspent) gasses to the atmosphere.

titanium, carbon, helium, unobtainium - whatever, it will not improve the handling or fun of the gs more than %2. dyno numbers ? pushta- they mean nothing. sound ? wear earplugs ! earplugs make a lawnmower sound badass.

now then, lets ride already  :D

It is to restrictive.I think the pipe size is like .75 or 1 inch.IIRC,GS is 2.25.I don't have a GS one sitting near me or I'd measure it.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

I was wrong. My 96 header is 1.75.It's my Hayabusa D&D exhaust on my black 89 GS that 2.25.

I know it's considered ghetto, but an old fashioned glass pack works well.  Heck, most after market motorcycle mufflers are nothing more than glorified glass packs anyway.  $35 for the muffler and $35 to have the new mid-pipe bent and welded and I was good to go.  I did bring it home and smooth out the welds before spraying it with flame proof paint.   The hanger is a 2 7\8" offset chrome muffler hanger for a Harley Davidson.  I should have gotten a 3".  It's not obnoxious under normal operations but definitely roars when you get on it.  Folks in the neighborhood do look but they don't give me the evil eye when I ride by.  The guy in the neighborhood with the Harley - well that's another story.
