That isn't "new"...

(Edit) Yeah...I'm jealous...

Yeah, you caught me, it's not 'new'......it's the X350 chassis XJ8 Vanden Plas.  Completely loaded, 300hp and I'm getting 30mpg hwy.
I ordered a new radar detector as well, should be here wednesday....it's an escort 8500x50 with the escort live package.

This car is simply stunning in person.  The white just glistens and the interior is two-tone tan.

This is the pic I took of the engine, not a stock photo

and the interior

Guess I should mention, I purchased it from the dealer with the next service completed, 4 new Michelin MXM4 tires, the new GPS software and a warranty.

I don't see an engine; all I see is a composite shroud in the engine bay.

Runners, an engine does not make. Helps an engine breathe though...

ohgood

So is that like the all option SHO version, or different than the taurus somehow ?

(I used to like jags)

Awwwe, the kids don't like my car......excuse me while I go and not cry in my 300hp/30mpg luxury sedan

Kijona

Lol. That isn't my idea of a nice car.

My idea of a nice car is this:

Or this:

I know they're not luxury cars. But you know what? In my opinion, having a car is a luxury. :P

I think if you drove an Exige you'd agree. LOL!

Lotus makes a very nice product. I've driven a blown elise that was putting 400hp on the wheels......mindblowing.  honestly, I like saloon cars.....looked at a few w220 S600s.....very nice and very fast, but theyre prone to sleeve failure and every one I found available fhad issues.

spc

I actually test drove an 08 gt500 in my car search.  The numbers worked and the car was just obscenely fast......I just really need a sedan.  Next will be a few year old qp.

The only mustang I would EVER own is either the 302/5.0L foxbody or the old 1967 fastback. Still, I'd rather have the lotus any day of the week.

If you haven't driven one of the 2011+, you're missing out.  Seriously.  Fantastic cars.

You don't know what a car is.  :flipoff:

I've ridden in a friends '11 mustang. It was...okay. :P

Sorry, I'm just biased. The cars I like the most are the closest to feeling "bare" or "raw". I don't like things that most people like, lol.

LOL! I drove a friend's Rabbit/Golf thing...the one with those sexy stock rims. I didn't necessarily care for the semi-auto tranny but other than that it seemed very sporty.

I'm an old-school boy. I love my straight-shift cars.
