Another rear shock question

Sorry to ask this if done so before but wiki says I cannot use the sv650 shock with the white spring, only the yellow spring?
Why is this? It does not say why. I have the white one to install?

i dont know for sure but im guessing different length or different connector.
compare what ypu have to the picture

Maybe the spring rate is different?
I've installed the white one without problems.
No drilling, no cutting.

Good point there. I completely forgotten about that.
After install, the centre stand was pretty much useless, cuz both wheels were on the ground, and the bike was easy to rock from side to side, so I got rid of it, and stick to sidestand permanently. Of course, I had to lenghten it for about 4-5 centimetres.

Bugger I didnt want to have to mod the stands so I guess I will have to re sell it.

Cut (at the lower end of the stand) insert a piece of machined metal rod, weld, spraypaint. Ride.

Will have to see how bad it is before I cut? Cutting things scare me
