Need help getting the cylinder over the pistons, is there a trick to it? Trying to get everything together. and this is stopping me.. can't figure it out and don't wanna ruin those little rings..

Make sure your ring gaps are spaced equally around the diameter of the pistons. And put some motor oil on the cylinders. There is a taper on the bottoms of the cylinders to compress the rings as the cylinders slide down.

Also,

Are there tiny pins in the ring grooves of the pistons that the rings are supposed to index on? I dont think there are, but give it a look see in case.
The rings on these pistons are very skinny and hard to compress with fingers, but it can be done.

use a hose clip and there arn"t any pins in piston ring grooves because its a 4 stroke .

I didn't have any trouble compressing the rings one at a time with my fingers to get the cylinder on.  Set the pistons one higher than the other so you work the rings of one in before you start the other.  Bikers are like Thanksgiving turkeys, the older birds are the tough ones.
