This one is about 15 minutes away from me...feel like I need a reason for a second one, but not for that price.

Love this guy's reason for selling. Could be a decent deal for someone.

Seriously! That's one of the only aftermarket paint jobs I've ever liked! I wish I needed another GS. Wonder how many miles it has on it..

WTF thats neither vintage nor 550? Someone should tell him/her :cookoo:

Everything on ebay is "vintage" and "rare". I think the same applies to CL.

Vintage? In rattle-can black? Not even close.  :icon_lol:

To be vintage, it must be at least 20 years old (or more depending on the state) and needs to be maintained in or restored to a condition which is substantially in conformity with manufacturer specifications and appearance...at least according to the legal definition for most states to register a vehicle as a classic/antique.

If he's willing to drop the price $500 so fast because he's moving, I'd say it's a good bet that the "runs great" part is worth another price drop. Runs great usually means there's a "but." Like, but it spews oil; but it dies at the end of the block; but I can't figure out what's really wrong with it so I'll sell it.

Huh.

So what would you suggest to be used, if a bike really DOES run great?

A ridiculously high price.  :D

Realistically, I don't think there's any phrasing that can be used in a classified/ebay/craigslist ad to state that something really does run mechanically perfectly. Using correct grammar & spelling as well as a greater than 1 complete sentence description goes a long way toward someone (me) believing what is written, though.
