Selling my Suzuki GS500E 1996 model. I bought this bike a year ago and it served me well with no problems. This is a great starter bike and is much easier to handle than most bikes this size. Plus Suzukis are known for their durability. I am the third owner. The only problem(which is a major one) is that the bike is currently not running. It was left for the summer as I went home to Norway and it did not start when I came back. I suspect that the carbs are flooded, and there might be an electrical issue as well. I have an estimated quote of $175 to fix this at Tacoma Motorsports. Looking to get rid of this bike as I got a car, and willing to negotiate on price, seeing as the bike is not running. Can be a good project for someone looking to fix up a bike that has a lot of life left in it. Email me if you are interested and I can give you my number for more details. 160 005miles (not a lot for a bike this age). The bike has never been laid down, but has been dropped once, hence the marks one the side (shown in picture). Also have cover, two helmets, front windshield and riding gear if interested.

Being delivered. It has a "windshield" if I want it. Hope it is the OEM.
For $800 it should be a steal.


There is a 2005 for $1299. Insurance totaled it due to damage to fairing. If I didn't just get this 1996 bike, that 2005 would be super - make it naked and flip for $2000. Damage to front makes me wonder if more damage - like forks?

Thats an '04 For $1200? doesn't look too bad, so that price is probably reasonable.  It's been dropped on the left side (missing front indicator, scratched sidecover, etc..) Not much info, and single pic doesn't even show the full length of bike =/

Whats the deal with the windscreen?

Pretty sure that's a flush mount indicator.  Not sure on the rest.  Guy said it's an 03, with 9000 miles.  Didn't inquire any further.

Can't be '03, No GS500 made that year... but it shows '04 color scheme

But yeah I see that it looks like a small clear indicator now.

Yeah, pretty sure it's an 04.  Guy said he doesn't know much about it.  I'm not in the market, but is someone else is, and wants me to contact him, let me know.
