Here's our explanation of the difference:

I agree that the air also acts as a progressive spring. Regular springs resist more the more they are compressed. progressives just have a non-linear resistance as compressed. I really don't see any advantage other than the buzz word "progressives" sounds cool to some people.

The question that comes to my mind is  :dunno_black: "What is the discount code on checkout when buying Sonic springs?"

LOL, we don't do business that way. It never seemed fair to me to charge people different prices for the exact same thing. So instead of making you know a special code or secret handshake, we just give everyone the same low price, all the time. If you compare our regular price to some of our competitors "Internet Special" or "Discount" or "Group Buy" prices you'll see what I mean.

It's a bit of an uphill battle at times, because people are conditioned to expect  the "inflated MSRP, 25% discount is the real price" pricing model, but I think overall it's a good strategy.  At least it's one I'm comfortable with. :)

FWIW Rich, you secured my business as soon as you replied here no matter what the price was.  The fact that it's better than your competitors is just a bonus for me.  :)

Might have to wait a bit, but you'll be getting an order from me.
If you can't be a good example, at least try to be a horrible reminder.

No harm in asking. :)
