This can be seen one of two ways...either the cat is too stupid to realize it'd be torn apart by that dog...i.e., more balls than brain...

OR

It's a brave little kitty. You decide. :P

With all my cats over the years I got them used to being cradled in my arms upside down without problems. And draped over my shoulder as well without clawing in.

They didn't like it, at first. But I broke them in.

I knew of a cat who could easily tear up this dog and run up the tree.
But that dog - very appropriatley named - "Gullitt" - google Ruud Gullitt and you'll know ... has been clocked in the back of the head by a cow's hoof one time too many.
See it used to pull the tails of cows with its teeth. I've seen the cow take a swipe at it with its rear foot. The dog sees that hoof comming and nicely weaves out of the way, however what goes up, must come down and the dog cat see that, and tonk goes the hoof into the top of its head. All while the tail is still in its teeth, and by now the teeth and tail are tangled up and the dog can get stomped into pulp ... not that that has happened, but I've seen it get tonked on top of its head atleast 3 times. Anyway this was in india not in the US.
Cool.
