A bunch of turns, some mud, and watched a lexus being extracted from a creek. He likely was trying to kill something I bet.

The thing this bike does best is cruise down the expressway at 75mph.  It won't beat much at the drag strip, especially if it's 1/8 mile, and a Sportster will make you look stupid from stoplight-to-stoplight, so don't bother.

You learn to take it easy on launches when you drive an awd car. It takes a good rev to start off with all that unsprung weight, but also will cook the clutch if you drop it. Every kid with a civic always thinks im racing them at a light, then I pull away at 2k rpm and shift at 3k into second.  :D they'll think they could beat my wrx, but I know how fast I am and no need to prove it. I also apply this technique when I ride my gs. It's all about the mind tricks and twisties :thumb:

Been racing at the track and street races here and there for a long time now, I know the difference.  :icon_rolleyes:

Not every driver behind your favorite sports car is Mario Andretti. Chances are they didn't know how to launch it right, it's not my problem. I'm very consistent on my launch and can rip it hard.

A wins a win.

You don't have to be Mario Andretti to beat a GS with a C6.  Even grandma could do that.

But I'll take your word for it.   :thumb:

Alright, so my first kill came about a month after I started riding.  It was after dark, and I was on my way home via some nice winding country back roads.  It was a cool, clear moonless night, making visibility less than optimal.  Out of nowhere comes this cars starting to tail the crap outta me.  After several attempts at trying to wave him by, and him refusing, I was fed op, and said screw it.  Dropped down a gear, and got to about 10 over and my admirer backs off a bit.  Then it happens, in the furthest reach of my headlight I see a pigeon but it's too late for me to do anything.  I feel each tire cross over the flyingg rat, and I'm on my way, so there you have it, my first kill was a bird.
