ONTARIO riders

i'm starting to work on my first GS...i have some questions about safety and emission test in ontario...

what things should i check on the bike before taking it to a dealer for a safety check? i just want to fix all the things that are wrong with my bike before taking it for a safety check...


also, is anyone close or lives in windsor?

No emmissions on Bike.

I live in Cambridge.

Check the Basics:
1.  What do the cables look like?  Rusty, cracked etc.
2.  How much brake pad is left?
3.  How much tread is left on the tires?
4.  How many clicks on the chian?
5.  Are the gears worn down?
other things:  Horn, lights, battery.

There are more things to look for, but I don't think a non mechanical eye like mine could help.
