SV650 rear shock upgrade?

Could anyone confirm to me if the white shock from the later model sv's fits the gs?

On the wiki it says only the yellow but i coud swear i saw a thread on here where someone fitted a white one?

Found one in the same town as me for 40quid and need one asap so im hoping it fits!

The white SV650 shock will take some modification to fit if I'm not mistaking.
