things to be wary of? Odd choke behaviour.

I parked my bike downtown at san diego comicon for a few hours.

When I started it up to ride home, the choke was acting... odd.

it wouldnt stay on full consistently, for about 30 seconds. That is to say, it wouldnt rev high ,in neutral.
Then it would go to higher revs than I remmeber it for a while. over 4k revs, close to 5k.
Then once or twice it would dip down to 1.5k revs for a while.

I'm wondering if some yahoo mucked with something on my bike, and what sort of thing I should check.

The good news is, I rode it home 100 miles, and it seemed fine.  It was just the choke acting up.
It's never behaved like this before, to my memory.

My choke does the same thing if I don't have it all the way on. I think my carbs are out of sync, but maybe its something else. Its never been a big deal, and like you said the bike runs fine when the choke is off.
