Hey guys, just picked up my GS500 this past week. It has 20k on it, and the only issue is the tach bounces (going to pull apart the cable and check it all out, but tips are appreciate). I traded an 85 V30 Magna for it, and it is my first "sportier" bike. I am completely in love, it is a joy to ride. They way the bike turns in, and holds the line is great, I LOVE light bikes. The bike is not stock and so far has:

-Two Brothers Racing exhuast
-K&N Lunchbox filter
- Rejetted pilots (bought new mains today, don't know why the previous owner only did the pilots, going to try the 142.5)
-Renthal super bike bars (they were on an SV650 previously, then the Magna, now this. Love them)
-Bar end mirrors (running stockers with the Renthals)
-Low pro turn signals

I am planning on a Katana 750 rear, with sonic springs up front. I am a big guy 6' (270 lbs), so the increased spring rate will help I am sure. I am really enjoying this bike and hope to enjoy it for some time to come. Once I fix the tach and re-jet I am hoping to get to the Tail of the Dragon to wring it out!

...Pics or shens... (this is before the Renthals, right when I got it home)
