Why is it that noobs forget to introduce themselves these days as well as telling us where they are from so the appropriate country can help them out?
Oh welcome to the forum and maybe this should be posted in the WTB/For Sale section instead?!
I am not interested in anything you have to say

There's always these: http://www.simpson-detour.co.uk/shopitem.aspx?OBJ_ID=3147028&OCT_ID=9 I've considered these myself, but I would also like to use the stainless steel chain guard I bought from Adidasguy, so I'd have to figure out how to mod this. I'm not talented with regard to fabrication, so

I tried contacting airbrush already via PM. He is not interested in making more, nor is he interested in providing dimensions for them so someone else can make them.  :icon_neutral:

Last I heard, Adidasguy had one that is not yet fitted to a bike...that he might be persuaded to take detailed pictures of. According to him, there are only a couple ways he would consider parting with it, both include finding rare OEM parts he has never seen. If a parts whore can't find them, how is a regular schmuck supposed to stumble across one?  :dunno_black:
It seems it has become necessary to qualify my posts:
I am/am not trying to start an argument. This post is/is not intended to be a personal attack. I am/am not merely attempting to present a different viewpoint.

That depends, are you a rich schmuck or a regular schmuck  :icon_lol:
I know one of the OEM parts he wants, but what is the other? (not the luggage rack)

Definitely not the first one.  :icon_lol:  However, I even offered to pay an extra % premium if airbrush were to make one for me.

The other part might be a mythical beast. The OEM handlebars that are shown in the old (not most recent) Haynes manual. Apparently Adidasguy has yet to find a part number for them, so not likely to find them. On the other hand, go to enough swap meets & who knows what you'll stumble across.

I offered to buy the mold and it was a no-go.

Ever look closely at the pictures in the Haynes manual? It shows a different handlebar setup - one similar to early 90's Bandit setups.

I WANT ONE!

That could get a rear hugger out of me.

Balu Racing makes one attached to a chain guard. You could get one of those and use it as a model to design your own then sell them.

Nortwestrider will be making a skid plate for Trey. Maybe he could make more and sell them. I bet some people would like that over a belly pan for the off-road or street fighter look.

PS: They Haynes book is British. So you guys in the UK might locate one for me.

why's NW rider making it? just out of curiosity, it seems like it could be done much cheaper as a project, anyways, i think trey should get some pipe gaurds from moose racing!

I don't have a haynes manual, just a PDF one. I'll have to look into that, i have a friend who owns a shop with ALOT of random old (and brand new old) parts
