Clear alt. tail light problems

I bought the Clear Alt. integrated turn signal tail light a while ago and I can't seem to get the wiring right. Either one turn signal works or both the left and right only blink on the right side. What's going on? I upgraded to the Lockhart Phillips flush turn signals too....does that have anything to do with it? Am I missing something?
