Hey guys.. My GS is running on a dry battery and since I am away from home for almost a month I am not sure how much power would be left in the battery. I'll be back home in about a week's time, Just wanted to ask if it is safe to jump start a DRY battery by connecting it to the car's battery? I have done the jump start thing on my previous bike but that had a wet battery so I am not sure if it works equally good with the dry battery too??

Thanks..

I've jump started every bike I've ever had at least a few times every winter riding year around here in NE Ohio without a problem.  Mostly wet ones but I've been on Scorpion sealed batteries for 3-4 years now, currently on the 2nd one.  I've only jumped a Scorpion battery a couple times so far.  They start better in the winter than wet ones did, seem to have more voltage left for spark while cranking when cold.

Its summer over here, I hope the battery has not drained all of the power yet..so that means I can jump start a dry battery too..thanks for the info.
