Hey guys. I've got a '93 GS I bought sans gauges. If anyone has a working set of gauges that work on the older GS with the mechanical gauges, please let me know what it might take to get them off your hands! I don't really care if the outsides are scratched a little or anything, as long as they work!

Also looking for a set of the '89 clip on bars.

Ive got some clocks from an 04+. Word is you can wire the tach clock to the coil and it will work that way. Just an idea.

More like 7 or 8 sets assorted of 89's, Euro type 1 and a couple sets of clips for type 2.

Maybe that's why he hasn't asked me for a clutch lever - professional pride. I have some and they are only like $9 for a new Motion Pro one.

(Oh, and he needs tp specify what year or whether he has the new or old switch, as the depth of the switch slot has changed, unless he needs a newer one and doesn't mind drilling an older one deeper)

Is it possible to use the '04+ speedometer with my '93 bike? If it is I'm interested. By tach clock... are you saying there is a clock in the tachometer or do you mean the RPM measuring part of it? Makes sense you could make an electrical gauge work that way seeing as aftermarket tach's on every car I've ever messed with/seen have a wire going to the coil for signal

Why not something like these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/37MM-CNC-Handlebars-Handle-Bar-Clip-On-Suzuki-1989-2009-GS500-F-E-89-09-Silver-2-/221096691363?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item337a63c6a3&vxp=mtr#ht_4781wt_1186

I like them. A lot. I've just heard  about the whole extra vibrations thing and that's kind of turned me off to real clip ons. I don't care about my headlight brackets, I'll style those with my angle grinder. I just don't want some ungodly amount of vibration that's going to put my hands to sleep.

Can anyone comment whether what I've read is true about all the vibes, or if it's exageration?

Most people call the gauges "clocks".

I call them gauges but whatever.

After market tachs normally tap into a coil to get a signal. The same is used here for these electronic tachs

I think the only thing about those bars that I posted are that you have to lower the triple to get enough to clamp onto and I dont think (but dont actually know either) if they have room to add end bar weights. But being they are SOLID aluminum I would imagine that would make the weights irrelevant

Here are some pics of the clocks or gauges in this folder
