was cleaning up hte pawnshop other day. found 4 2lb cans of calcium carbide theyre like " if you want em, take em. i said okay dribble water on a rock, of it, and it makes acetylene gas. aka carbide cannon/potato cannon shoot anything cannon. thought about locating an old shotgun barrel and making a cannon out of that. if anythign can handle minor explosions that can. lol. now the obligatory ' DONT TRY THIS AT HOME"

Safely? nope, no way to do it Safely at all. Best thing to do is, not make carbide bombs. Only way to be sure you don't hurt yourself.

took 1 rock put into baloon, watered, it started gassing, sealed abloon, tied it off, threw it into fire,  = boom  then  showed up. wondering where the explosives were. " i said, explosives? i have no such thing"
