Wanting to try out some clip ons.  Anyone have some at a really good price?  I don't have a lot of money to spend.. If I can't find any, I'll end up getting some clubmans..

Define "clip-ons" and for a 1989-2000 model or 2001+?
I have way too many true 89's on the shelf.

Afterbooster might have a set with a bent bar. I have plenty of spare bars,

Still need a right Euro type 1 clip. I have 2 left's (NOS). Will trade or buy.

Pretty much open to anything. 89s would be nice. Wanting them for my 96. Not super fond of the super bike bars I have now, and I'm pretty sure they're tweaked to one side.   :technical:

I'll have to put some thought into it.  I'd really like to get a set of factory ones if I can get them for a good price.  If not, then I'll definitely be interested in the others.

If you're not wanting to alter the ride hight, or mess with the head light bracket, I would highly suggest holding out for stock type.

That's one of the big reasons I'm holding out.  Really don't want to have to mod anything.  Thanks!   :thumb:

I had one person ask, but he needed them for 2001+ tanks and I'm out of Euro-Type-1.
I think someone else asked me for some 89's but now I forget. Whom every you were, please remind me because I did find this set I can sell

PS: Define "good price" - good for you or good for the seller?

PM me adi, if no one else replies.  I'm interested, and I'd like to know how much.  Money is tight these days, but I'm pretty sure my superbike bars are bent, so I need to look into getting something different..

Info on them:
All screws replaced with stainless
The black bars: Straight. Bar end threads cleaned with a tap. bars are actually Euro  bars - 1/2 " longer than original 89's because I don't have extra 89's that are not bent or have a broken screw in them. Index hole drilled for proper location.

Some FYI on OEM Clip-Ons: Due to different screw positions of the 89 .vs. Euros, the bars are physically rotated a little. Moving bars from one to the other results in the index holes being rotated by about 15*. Therefore new index holes drilled so these bars will work fine on 89's or Euro clips, should you ever swap clips.

Actually, the ONLY difference between a left and a right steel bar is the index hole for the controls. So easy to make a left into a right and vice versa: just drill the index hole. (Remember there is a left and right for the CLIPS because of the angles. The BARS can be switched around)

If you need the 4 rubber bumpers let me know. Usually the 4 bumpers get stuck to your upper triple so you probably have them unless someone lost them. I have the 2 mounting bolts with shallow heads if you need them. Use your silver caps you already have.

$150 obo  shipped to USA. Extra for postage if outside USA.

I get so many PM's I can keep track of all of the "Re: (No subject)". People - PLEASE put in a subject. (I wish moderators would force the message system to reject PM's unless a valid subject is put in). Still wonder who wanted a set. I did sell one set and the other person can't use 89's.

Good for both!  Lol.  I'll have to see how much I can come up with, so I can try and get yours.  Thanks for the info and pics.

It would be a good idea to delete this post, and start your own thread.
Kinda crappie to weezle in on someone else's while they're looking for parts..
