Correct! I figured someone with a GoPro (I know weedahoe has a Hero3 Black, which comes with the remote) would come along and figure it out right away. This was much more entertaining than I was expecting.

It's a good bit smaller than it appears. The metal cylinder is about the size of a tic-tac.

Was looking at 10/22 clips and it does look like the wound up spring in the clip.
Those unfortunate people in states where you can only load 10 or less (HI, CA, DC, IL, NJ, MA, NY).
Buy the big ones while you can.

Inside of a Ruger BX-25 magazine. It's the only one that can be disassembled as far as I know.

Well, the package says "clip two together for added fire power" so "clip" is used in some of the packaging!
Champion makes one with a clean-out door on the bottom. Don't know if it completely comes apart. I'd have to look at one.
Short 30 rnd in a double row. Don't know how well they work.
