Nope, not an actual part of a pick or pick gun. It's a very special type of torsion tool for a very specific purpose. May have to throw up something else real easy just to keep the game moving.

Badot

It's not used to do actual picking, and not a disassembly tool.

Big major hint: it can be used to allow you to manipulate a lock multiple times while only actually picking it once.

yamahonkawazuki

used to spread apart the pins?

Badot

Nope.

Works by using a high enough speed that the pins can't move in the time it takes to do what it does.

marcusk

I have hear of something like a bump pick or bump lock is that was it is ?

Badot

Nope. Bump pick/pistol pick/pick gun are the name for those. Those lift the pins. The object in question is a torsion tool.

yamahonkawazuki

does it by chance remove a lock cylinder ?

I said R.I.P to the game over a week ago.
No hints to guide us to the right thing. Only things like "its not that"

Badot

Yep, that's it.

And there really wasn't much more hints I could give besides spelling out the name  :dunno_black:
