Close enough!
It is indeed a Cheeto, but not soggy.
It's a macro shot taken with my phone and a closeup lens.

You win!

Ok, your turn, post something cool. :)

cyamaura

Someone else go I don't know what to take a pic of..

Neither did Mojo .. Right before he posted his demon signal flare!

Look... Find... Pix... Post!!  :technical:  ;) :thumb:

Elmojo

Hahaha right!
If no one else posts anything today, I can probably find something...

Elmojo

Until someone else finds something to post, I'll toss this in there:
To make it a bit easier, I'll include 2 photos.

I thought at first it is an EEPROM of some sort with the window sticker removed - but the window is huge - some sort of semiconductor based scanning head?

Elmojo

Wow, on the very first try!  :woohoo:
It is indeed a scanning head. It's the CMOS imaging board from an HP flatbed scanner.
The cool thing to me is that in the closeup photo, you can actually see the separate Red Green and Blue channels.

Ok, I'm done.
Kiwi, post something mysterious!

Kiwingenuity

Hmm.. Lets try something that used to be fairly common...

It is - I shall have to find something better next time...

Your turn

Janx101

Hey Mojo... lets see what other 'obvious/too easy' stuff you have. .. lol ;)

Elmojo

Oh man, back to me again?! lol
Okay, let me dig around here....

Elmojo

Oops! I just realized I never posted anything, sorry about that.

Ok, this one should be a bit tougher, unless you're into a certain hobby....
Oh, and the quarter is just for scale, before one of you wiseguys says "that's a quarter!"  :icon_rolleyes: :nono:
