Watcher

Penny for size reference.

Not for a bow, but if you are thinking of the little piece that holds the arrow you are sort of onto something.

Its flexible.

Ok it's a holder of something..  flexi.... but not big. .  Windscreen wiper (at rest) widget for newer cars with those fancy wioers

Watcher

Wrong direction entirely.

Honestly it's pretty closely related to the bow idea.

Piano string holder thingy?

Cmon guys... chime in any time!.... guys?

Watcher

Its made of like a rubber and is designed to flex in only one way.

A harp string ummm tuner/muter thingus? ...

A box magazine stopper widget?...

A soft close mini gate latch!?...

Dammit now I've gone all "Pliskin" ;)

Elmojo

Sorry guys, I wasn't getting post notifications for some reason.  :dunno_black:

I've seen that thing before, I just can't recall where!
Is it an anti-multi feed stopper for an airsoft gun?

Oh man!  Right application but wrong type of gun! Look at the size of the radius and imagine what would sit against it.

Paintball anti-chop stopper!

No!

But since you got the right answer between the two guesses, you got it.
Its a ball detent for a Tippmann.  Anti-double feed for a paintball gun.

Elmojo

That's what I meant, it keeps more than one ball from loading, which can cause chopping.
Anyway, yay for me!! ;)
Oh, now I have to find something....

Elmojo

Okay folks, give this a gander...
This is another one of those things that you either know immediately, or have never seen before.

Chop implies chop, bolt splits ball in half.  Everything else is just considered a breakage.  But's that's just me being pedantic  :thumb:

CPU

Elmojo

Good point. I didn't know  specific you needed my answer to be. :)

Yep, it's a cpu, but the kicker is which type?

Watcher

Elmojo

Nope, older.
Is this too vague?
It may be unreasonable for anyone to guess the specific generation of chip, since they look so similar.
If you guys think I'm being too picky, we'll call Watcher's answer good and let him post something new.

mennobike

hmmm, with more detail i might be able to get it, but not with just the pins. Watcher's got it, in my opinion, but I'd say wait for a couple more people (or just janx :D ) to chime in.
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

Elmojo

Sounds fair to me.
It's a Cyrix 486!  :o
Here's the other side.
Watcher takes it.

Your turn....

Watcher

Alright, fair enough.

If I've used this before let me know and I'll find something else.  I started up another "what is this?" game on another forum some time ago and I'm bouncing back and forth between them.
