Fair trade. The hi-point series of pistols are good for what they are: cheap, durable guns. Probably not the most accurate, and probably not the most reliable. How can you complain when it costs half as much as a Taurus, and 1/8th what a Beretta does?

Yes, but a Taurus is a vastly superior gun.  I love their millenium pro series.  Can be had for under $300.  Great IWB carry.  Not that I ever carry a gun.  They are loud and frightening...

your state being open carry helps Eh?  lord knows it did when i lived out that way. showed a colt defender to someone the other day. s LIGHT 1911 in a smaller shorter frame. that SOB would kick id say.
