Chopper Live: Revenge

Anyone following the Chopper Live show?  Check Chopper Live if you're not up on the biker build-off.

I'm not voting, but I'd probably go with Team Senior, then maybe Fast N' Loud.  I like Jesse James' idea, but I don't think he pulled it off quite right.  I can't stand Paul Junior's gaudy and repetitive designs.

Which bike do you guys like the best?

I don't think Junior deserved the win on this one.  Other than a custom exhaust, tank, and fenders, what did they really build on that bike?

I would like to have ridden Seniors and Jesse's bike's to see how they ride.  Jesse's didn't really do it for me from a aesthetics perspective, but Senior's was pretty interesting.  I would have liked to know more about the front end on Senior's.

What's with no brake or clutch lever on the handlebars on the Fast n Loud bike?  How does that work?  Looked like he had to reach down for something to shift.

I agree regarding Junior's bike, but it is a fan-vote based competition so there is no accounting for taste I guess.  As far as Fast and Loud go, they have no front brake.  The clutch is a foot pedal where the shifter would normally be, and there is a jockey shift lever (aka - suicide shifter) connected to the tranny down on the left side.  Then they only run a rear brake, pedal on the right where it would normally be.  It seems a lot of chopper builders run suicide shifters to keep the handlebars clean.

I liked the fact that most of Senior's bike was fabbed in house, and mostly milled out of aluminum.  The front end is a little unsightly and seemed too bulky for the rest of the bike, but the concept was cool.

I agree on the front end on Senior's.  Would have been better with a regular set of inverted forks.
