I bought them and realize I am not that much into chrome. Includes all mounting hardware and 2 longer engine bolts.

$135 shipped OBO. International shipping extra.

Powder coating is always an option ;)
Not for me - I have 4 other sets of 3 different types. Do I need five sets?
I can spare one that is unused and chrome plated. They're from Germany (as one might expect for good GS aftermarket parts)

You should snag these up to match them katana wheels.

would these type of engine crash guards work with a naked 2007 gs500f? I've been looking for crash guards or maybe frame sliders but would much rather have the metal bars.  Thanks  :thumb:

They fit.
The forward frame and engine mounts are the same for all years. Without the fairing, all engine bars will fit.

I'd say thats a great price for them!  I would snatch them up if I didn't an F model (which I do prefer, so don't try to convince me that it 'could' be an E with these guards!)

Come to Seattle and go to the West Seattle Build-a-Bike Workshop! Fire extinguishers always on premises.

Bluesmudge

Don't worry, as soon as you put them on eBay someone will be posting a want-to-buy ad for crash bars. Thats just how it works.

Pretty bars. They make me want to hack up my fairing just to make 'em fit.

=( I only get vacations 5 days at a time. I tried to get them to double up, but they won't. 5 days isn't enough to ride from seattle to FL, let alone flight time, wrench time, chill time, and ride time.

If you move to like, say, Kansas, you would be central to everyone in the US of A, and only 2 days ride!!! :thumb:

shoot...they look like a decently sturdy design; i agree -- if only they weren't chrome i would consider. Also, i lucked out and found OEM black crash bars a while back; they've been quite handy when i had made some mistakes... O0 a bit bent and scraped now on the right

They won't work with that. You can use the R&G sliders like I did with Junior before I put the full fairing on him.
