I have 10 kits to adapt rearsets from a GSXR (600 K1-5, 750 Y-K5, 1000 K1-4) to our bikes! This is all thanks to mitch79 (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=61148.0).

I am not trying to make any money off of these kits, I had to purchase the plates with a minimum order so that is the reason for selling them.

The connecting rods I am including have a yellow zinc finish. I did not realize this when I ordered them. I am painting mine black. You can also sand then clearcoat the rod.

The plates are waterjet cut from 3/8 aluminum stock then tapped. The plates are not as pretty as machined plates so they will need to be sanded and painted, or only sanded for a bare aluminum look. I painted mine black to match the frame. The holes are tapped.

What you get:

2 adapting plates
4 mounting bolts
1 connecting rod.

I will get pics up tonight. Price is $45 shipped per set.

Thanks

 When you say connecting rod, are you talking about the shift linkage?
If god intended us to drink beer, he would have given us stomachs.

skunkteeth

Yes, it is a LH/RH M6 rod at the right length.

How do they connect on the right side? to the rear brake controls?

skunkteeth

I suggest getting the right with the master cylinder from the gsxr. I used the gs master but the brake pedal sits a little high even at max adjustment down. I could cut the master cylinder rod but it'll be easier to switch the master. The brake light switch from the gs works too.

I have pics of mine in the link in the first post. However, the post below is true. In only mention having the extra piece because I don't want skunkteeth stuck with these pieces.

That's true and how I had to do mine. Obviously the master cylinder has to get turned also but it can be made to work

got a pic of them mounted up? im interested

MVent03

I payed for a kit today. I'll be shopping for the rear sets now. I'm assuming since nobody has said anything about the brake lines, that the GSXR master cylinder and brake lines are compatible? This might be a good time to install brake lines too since I'll have to drain it anyway.

Thank you! I'm shopping for GSXR rear sets now.

If i buy the hardware aftermarket, like these - http://compare.ebay.com/like/330738411154?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar -

. . . all I need in addition is the rear master cylinder and reservoir off a compatible set right?

skunkteeth

That linkage rod will be too short. You can use the gs master but may need to cut the linkage rod shorter to get the proper pedal position. I used a gs master and the pedal was too high. Looks like you need springs also.

I have a right gsxr rearset that I originally used but the pedal is *slightly* bent. It could be bent back or shimmed if anyone wants it.

Thanks
