I still learn stuff about riding every day, today even going round a roundabout I made the conscious effort to grip my tank, ease up my hand grip and I managed to scrape my boot all the way round, bike leant much further than before was quite proud of myself.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Twisted

So you were listening when I was schooling Aussiechic? Good boy!

Usually when riding the twistes I'm ore co concerned with other very important things than tank gripping. Next proper twistie ride I do I'll consciously do this more, I think I moved my strip 'closer to the edge' ha ha

This afternoon I  went out for a ride, and I discovered this perfect bit of road, not far from where I live.

The large road on the upper left is a dual carriageway.  I take it every now and then to get from A to B.
It has a few traffic lights, but there's one big roundabout.

A bit too busy to have a lot of fun on (at least during the day), but then I discovered that - by taking the first right - the road leads into a big industrial site:

- three more roundabouts  8)
- perfect line of sight through every turn (You can see the shadow of three large windmills on the left: the whole terrain is flat and wide open).
- very different turns in between (short, tight right / left / left / long right  <> other way round on the way back)
- almost no traffic.

I went round at least 10 times.  A guy was waiting for his carpool ride home somewhere in the middle:
he saw me coming by every 2 minutes or so...   Big grin on his face, gave me  :thumb: in the end.

I'm definitely going back there.  If it turns out they leave the streetlights on at night, I'm going to have a field day.  :D

Looks like a nice little course there.  :thumb:

I'll be definitely looking around the suburbs in my area when it warms up a bit more. Looking for nice little quiet county roads with plenty of scenery and turns. Got a few in mind. Woooo

catch2otwo

ran out of talent.  Cameras and spectators will drain it pretty quick

That spot at the beginning of the clip looks like it was shot at Deal's Gap. Best twisty road in the country, North Carolina/Tennessee border

Target fixation (guard-rail)

Didn't trust the bike. It had lots of lean to give, with a rider unwilling or unable to take.

Hope he gets his bike fixed, learns, and rides on.

The two main riders in the Twist of the Wrist video need to switch bikes or switch outfits... they match eachothers rides  :icon_lol:
