2009 GS500F Partout.

Just picked up a bike tonight that I have plans to part out. Will post some pictures over next couple days of everything as I take everything apart. Majority is in flawless condition except of course the engine. Was never laid down or anything but blew a crankshaft bearing. The bike is complete minus fairings, and of course the engine, unless you want parts from the engine minus the crankshaft bearing. I live in Arizona, to give an idea of what shipping costs would be.

2004-2009 should be all compatible.

Off the top of my head I have sold

Head + Gaskets
Right side controls
Kick Stand
Front brake master cylinder and lever
Exhaust
Center Stand
Grips
Handlebars
Frame
Headlight
Front Fairing
Headlight Stay
Front Turn Signals

What a shame. HTF does someone blow an 09 engine? What happened to the fairings if it was never laid down? You keeping them? If it had never been laid down, I know a guy who will buy the engine covers ;)

Hi,

I'm interested in the seat, if it's still in good condition (guess so, going on your description).

It would have to be sent to Belgium, so shipping will probably be too expensive.
But who knows...

I'll PM you my address so you can get a quote on the shipping costs and name your price.

Hi!

I just got my first bike last weekend and it's a GS500 and I love it.
I took it to my local bike shop just to get it looked over because I didn't feel like a could lean into a turn safely.
He said that for some reason the previous owner had replaced the whole front end with a Katana front end and it's throwing off the dynamics a little bit.
How much would the front end not including the tire be?
Forks, handlebars, clamp etc.

Unless the PO shortened the rake angle under 25o , or really botched the front end swap... I'm not sure thats really your problem... as a front end swap for GS500 is more common than you may think since the suspension is soft and other model front ends offer more adjustability... but without pics and/or more info, its tough to say anymore toward the right direction.  You mind posting some pics of the bike and front end?

Edit:  If you do post up pics or more info on your bike, make a new thread in General Discussion forum to avoid a major threadjack  ;)

Im using the fairings off it on my bike. The fairings pictured are from my bike. I took the stator side cover also. The right side is for sale though

Cool. Awesome pics too.

If Crzydood17 doesnt want the tail fairings then I am interested in them

Now while it was not laid down, it was at the bottom of that milk crate that engine was in... Doh! Here are some pictures anyway, the sticker is like pressed on the bottom side and a little scuff near the top. Not in perfect condition. The Sprocket cover on the other hand is in really good condition as it is still attached to the frame.

I am using the stator cover side for another bike I have where the magento and stator was destroyed so that is unavailable.

Hi I could do with the whole bottom end crank case & g/box as I see in the pic which is shown less 1 piston. I am a newbie but have being a bike mech by trade I have purchasing used bike parts world wide for over a decade.

I suppose it depends on E.G. condition / weight & size / shipping added to what you are asking price wise for the bottom end,

Kind regards skilledhansgirl
